Application Instructions

Orius & Cucumeris: Sprinkle these gently over infested plants, or use the hanging boxes to focus coverage right on your worst trouble spots. Leave the open containers out for 24–72 hours so any stragglers have time to make their way out and get to work. Keep them off the soil — they're meant for the plant itself, not the ground below it.

Sf Nematodes: Mix with water between 59–69°F and apply to soil that's already been pre-moistened. A watering can or sprayer both work fine. After applying, keep the soil consistently moist for two weeks, and try to avoid runoff so the nematodes stay where you put them.

Pro Tips

  • Take down yellow sticky traps for the first few days after releasing Orius and cucumeris, otherwise you'll catch your own beneficials along with the thrips.
  • If you've got ants in the picture, deal with them first. Ants will actually protect honeydew-producing pests from all three of these biological agents, undercutting the whole treatment.
  • For an infestation that's already active, one release of Orius usually isn't enough — staggered, repeat introductions work much better than a single drop.
